About the Performers
The Rabbit in the Moon presents the creative play of two magnificent cultures—Tibetan and Sufi. Experience this unique evening of poetry from the Sixth Dalai Lama and Jelaluddin Rumi.
Renowned poet Coleman Barks recites the poems accompanied by the wonderfully rich and flexible voice of Yungchen Lhamo, dance and story by Zuleikha, drum and percussion by Glen Velez, and cello by David Darling.
The performers who are from many lineages weave together a musical fabric of color and feeling.
